Basin Energy Hires New Company-Wide Safety Director

Basin Energy Group, along with subsidiaries Starett Energy Services and ProActive Services, has hired a new director that will be dedicated to safety. John Hill brings more than 20 years of safety management to the companies, with a combined workforce of more than 80 employees.

"Both of our subsidiaries have grown to a point over the last year that a dedicated safety manager has become a necessity," said Bill Johnson, Basin Energy CEO. "John brings a wealth of safety experience and knowledge to our companies and will help us to continue our reputation of safe and efficient services."

Hill started with the companies in March. Prior to joining the Basin Energy team, he worked for Select Energy Services and Baker Hughes. 

"Safety is the most important thing in this industry," says Hill. "I look forward to bringing my experience and training to help keep all the Basin Energy subsidiaries be compliant with safety requirements, and take their current safety program to the next level."

Hill has already started to reshape the companies' safety programs and procedures.
