WTOV - "ShalePro to move into Jefferson Co. Industrial Park"

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ohio — Cedar One Realty, in conjunction with the Jefferson County Port Authority, announced today that ShalePro will be moving into its new home very soon inside the Jefferson County Industrial Park.

It will be the eighth company to move into the park, bringing 40 new jobs with it. As such, the industrial park will soon be home to 150 full-time jobs.

The company is expected to move into the park within the next 30 days, and the hiring process will begin this spring and summer.

"It puts us on the map even stronger than we have been in terms of the oil and gas sector. I think it’s starting to happen more and more that we are being a focal point for not just the drilling activity, but all the service companies that are needed to support those wells,” said Evan Scurti, executive director of the Jefferson County Port Authority.

ShalePro, an oil and gas operating company headquartered in Houston, Pennsylvania, has over 23 years of production experience and provides services to more than 2,000 wells. The company recognized the ideal location of the industrial park early on, with its proximity to West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Ohio.

Joseph Luckino, owner of Cedar One Realty, has enjoyed working with the Port Authority and is happy to be directly involved in bringing more jobs to the area.

"The Port Authority was great. Everybody was accommodating; the industrial park was accommodating. We had our meeting out there. Everybody gave them the thumbs up, and they’re excited to start doing business in Jefferson County,” Luckino said.
