ShalePro Hires New Business Development Director

ShalePro Energy Services has hired Paul Sandy as their new Director of Business Development. Sandy brings with him 15 years of experience in the natural gas industry working in gas distribution, gathering, and transmission systems.  He has worked along side and with some of the major midstream and downstream companies in the West Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania region and has spent the last several years working in the Utica and Marcellus shale.

“We are really excited to bring Paul’s years of experience to ShalePro,” said Bill Johnson, ShalePro CEO. “We think that he’s going to be a great addition to our team and will have a lot of success in growing our footprint.”

Prior to ShalePro, Paul worked for Eureka Midstream, as Director of Operations, where he helped grow the company from approximately 20 employees at the time of his hire to 100 employees and approximately 20 miles of pipeline to over 250 miles of pipeline. When the company sold, it had a total throughput of approximately 1.7 bcf, which was up from 200 mmscf at the time of his hire.  Before Eureka, Paul spent multiple years with Dominion Resources working with different departments and company mangers.  His last role was, Supervisor of Operations for DTI, where he over saw approximately 200 miles of pipeline and multiple compressor stations.

“I enjoy working with individuals and have always enjoyed problem solving, construction management, and the overall operations of the everyday business of the gas industry,” said Sandy. “ShalePro gives me the opportunity to continue this work, and continue working and assisting multiple companies, by adding knowledge and support that I have gained over the years.”

Paul hopes to work with Shalepro employees to continue to grow the company and bring new jobs and customers to the company.

“I want to assist the company in growing in new markets, including on the DOT regulated side of business,” said Sandy. “I hope to grow our footprint in the market with new customers and new ideas, as well as continue to support and assist current customers on new adventures.”
