Q4 2019 - In the Field

After more than 10 months of training and preparation, we have made significant progress on the implementation Oildex OSS field ticketing.  While change and transition is always challenging, the new system provides significant benefits, including:

  • The ability to manage field ticket with better real-time visibility into jobs, including what jobs have are open, completed, invoiced, or canceled.

  • The ability to dispatch tickets, assigning employees and equipment

  • An app that allows employees in the field to fill out job tickets online or offline, and immediately submit them back to the office.

  • The ability to capture customer signatures directly from your mobile device then email them a copy before leaving the job site.

  • The ability to generate payroll information from the data entered to field tickets, reducing repetitive entries by eliminating the need for employees to clock-in/out of Paychex when their time is already captured on field tickets

  • Improved billing, as invoices can be generated directly from the electronic tickets without having track down, print, and reconcile tickets that must be prepared/invoiced in the accounting software

  • Better reporting, workflow, and consistency as all data is in one central location, so everyone can be on the same page as to a ticket’s review/billing status.

Appreciate everyone’s efforts thus far and look forward to a successful completion of the conversion in the coming weeks.  If you have any questions, concerns, or need additional training, please reach out to Amy Allen, Kelli Lyons, Andrew Berty, or Kevin Johnson.
